Simplicity 725 Battery OptionsWhat are my options for a battery in my 1963 Simplicity 725. It has a 12HP Briggs so I want the most powerful battery available. There's not much room in there. This is the best I could come up with. Tractor Supply Huskee® Lawn Tractor Battery, GTXHDMT 420 CA & 350 CCA. Dimensions 7-3/4 in. x 5-3/16 in. x 7-5/16 in. Price of $44.99.Thanks,TimThis is a pic of the old battery, not much room for bigger.

That should do it.

I just bought 4 new batterys at Menards The first one cost me

$27.00 the following week they went on sale 20.95 with a $5.OO

rebate so I bought 3 more.

I think they were something like 320 cca but spring is around the corner and they should crank in warm weather.

The battery is totally dead & won't take a charge at all.Not a gel battery. I can hear the acid sloshing around inside when I move it. Today I picked up the 350 CCA from Tractor Supply. Haven't had time to install it yet. Tomorrow I'll see how it cranks that 12HP.

Thanks
