powermax_paul 1 Posted December 30, 2001 That looks like a great machine! Once the Mrs. sees what it can do, you won't get it away from her. Have fun with it. (While you can) Paul

JCS 0 Posted December 31, 2001 What color RED and WHITE did you use? Also my 3212H when I lift (I think) stuff up the lever rubs against the driveshaft. Does anyone else have this problem? I see you use external hydrualic pump for the lift. Do you have plans for it or was this a factory set-up you found?
SmilinSam 4,245 Posted December 31, 2001 According to my research, the solid steel center wheels were unique to the 3112. One of those 1 or 2 year production things at best. The 3112's with the 10" wide tires are the only tractors I have seen these on. Never have seen where AC used them at all.
automan 0 Posted December 31, 2001 Daniel, Can you get that implement of destruction to the Kent, CT Antique Machinery show in September??? Another question... The rear rims that you have appear to have solid steel centers, rather than the slotted ones that appear on most B series tractors - and currently produced tractors as well. I have only seen one other set like those. Were they original equipment on the 3112? Colin
ScottS 0 Posted December 31, 2001 Hi all, I got the rims on mine are just like the ones in the picture above. ScottS
Guest Posted January 1, 2002 Sam, Thanks for the info - what you said seems to make a lot of sense. Are these rims wider than the Allis Chalmers rims used on the 23x10.5x12 tires? I think that they spread the tread out a little wide - could be an illusion. Colin
