Loader for Simplicity Sunstar

Recommended Posts

Long story short, i'm tired of carting hundreds of wheelbarrows of gravel and mulch and manure and want to put a FEL on my sunstar. Id like to do a full FEL, not just a johnny bucket and I know a couple of members on here have done them (PF engineering plans modified, and others).

I know front spindles are a concern, but the SS has some hefty frame and spindles already, heaviest I would be lifting would be buckets of #57 stone.

Anyone who's done a loader on their sunstar want to chime in (or link to a thread detailing it?) I would be contracting out the welding, but doing the rest of the fabrication myself (cutting stock to size, drilling, milling, assembly)

Here is several links to the loader I modified for my Sunstar. In reading through the now old posts I have got the quick attach system finished but never got it painted. I also used a completely different bucket which better suited my quick attachment system.

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁
