I have just picked up a legacy xl 4x4 with loader I have a problem with the loader lifting slow . Just trying to see what may be wrong , and if anyone has had this problem and what they did to fix it. It does go forward and reverse just fine.

Does it lift slow empty and full?

Like I was saying just bought it got a good deal on in , $3200 with loader an 60 in deck that looks like it was used 3 times. Thought I would take a shot and hope it was a simple fix.

Someone may chime in with input, but MTF may be a better place for Legacy questions...especially XL's. Something doesn't sound right. Plenty of youtube videos of these in action to compare yours to.

Great deal on the machine! I've seen some remarkable prices on these lately...deals can be found. We're going to need to see proof, of course ;)

Does it have the correct hyd oil inbit? Is the filter clean? Some of the early legacies had to have the relief valves turned up on the pump. They were set to low from the factory. But this sounds like a flow problem. Suction screen plugged? Some where to start at least.

Another thought could be ypu have a bad coupler. Does the bucket do it to?
