I'm generally pretty good at researching things on the 'net, but I can't find the fluid capacity for my 4108 transaxle. What's in there, 80W90? Thanx, Dave

Spot on Bob! It was factory loaded w/ that "black goop!". which is a clay and grease mixture. Nasty stuff

Been there, done that, got it all over a T-shirt!sm02

Typically it will be a model 801-019(x)

where 'x' is an alpha.version The ID plate is normally located below the disk brake assembly (accessible behind the RH rear tire).

It's not a 5 speed but a 3 speed H pattern shift. It looks to have a bottom drain plug and a side fill plug. I'll take pics this weekend. Thanx, Dave

I would say, if you drain what is in the transmission and it looks and smells like gear oil, your original thought of 80W90 is likely just fine for a three speed trans. IMHO

Thanx Bob, that's exactly what I was looking for. 1 1/2 pints 90W.
