rich_kildow Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 While switching my 7116H back over to summer duty, I checked the hydro fluid and realized I had overfilled it last time. Removing the cap allowed about 2oz to run out on it's own with the vent tube open, which moved freely. I had noticed a slow leak all winter that I hadn't been able to track down but would leave a small puddle between uses. Would the hydro being overfilled have caused this, and is there any possible damage I should be watching out for?
Burntime Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 It will just come out of the breather on the side when it gets warm... Better than being too low!
rich_kildow Posted May 7, 2014 Author Posted May 7, 2014 That's what I figured. It didn't seem to be leaking out the breather/vent cap, but who knows.
Burntime Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 It probably came out slowly and weeped down. Thats your tractor marking its territory!
