DorneyMA1 0 Posted June 22, 1999 I have a 1978 AC716H with 48" mower deck (no deflector) w/extra set of blades, 46" 5 position dozer/snow blade with springs (this is manual angle, missing part to change angle from seat) moved a lot of snow from my 140' driveway last winter, rear wheel weights and chains, and owners manual. Starts fine, runs fine, uses a little oil. Definitely not showroom condition - this tractor has been used regularly. Any idea on what I can expect to get from it? I am in southern lower Michigan. Thanks in advance. Jim
Guest Posted June 25, 1999 A lot depends on condition - it sounds like the engine may be due for a rebuild soon. Other parts can accumulate wear also but it is still a good basic tractor - perhaps an easy "handyman special". I think $500 would be on the low side, $1000 more on the fairer side but it should be worth more - a lot depends on who looks at it and how quickly you want to sell it. Keep me in mind - we may be going into the export market.
