CooterDavenport Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 I rebuilt the carb on my b-10. New jets, gaskets, emulsion tube, put it all together, turn on the gas, no leaks. Start it up, get it tuned runs great idle to WOT. HOWEVER, as I found while trying out my sickle bar, if it runs at half throttle or less for more than a few minutes, gas starts dripping from the bottom of the carb, it loads up and stalls. It doesn't leak at all when its shut off or at WOT only at about 1/2 or less. I've had it apart about 4 times since. Set the fuel level lower, put the old emulsion tube back in it, cleaned everything again, still the same. any ideas?
fishnwiz Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 Are you sure that you have the correct type needle valve in it? Some are rbber tip and some are all metal tip.
CooterDavenport Posted May 12, 2014 Author Posted May 12, 2014 positive. It doesen't leak at all when it's shut off, it's sat with the gas on overnight, no drips. The only thing I've thought of, and I'll check tonight, is whether the housings are warped at all allowing fuel to slosh inside the carb from vibration. But at this point I'm open to any and all suggestions or ideas
