Sickle bar??

I recently purchased a simplicity landlord with all the attachments the one with a problem is the sickle bar they took the cutting bar off to sharpen it and lost it can i find a bar ? Or any ideas some one might have would be appreciated , thanks BTG

You'll be at the mercy of what others have hanging around or ebay. If you have the model number of the sickle it will help narrow down what bar you need.

You may find parts if you run an ad on Craigslist. Good luck!

You *may* be able to fab one.

1: Member HTews makes nicely drilled bars to which you can add Simplicity/AC sections. You will need to fab a bracket to attach the pitman to. Sections are hard to find.

2: Nearest Brand X sections are Sears. Section dimensions are the same but smaller rivets are used. Also hard to find. Then get some raw bar from McMaster Carr and drill your own holes. Also will need to fab the pitman bracket.

Looks like Webbs Sickle Service is now cuttingcomponents.com.

Thought Dan in New York was making parts for them ? I know I bought several things a few years back
