NAPA Belt Question

Recommended Posts

Bill,

The advice given on this site is to use Simplicity belts anytime the belt bends backwards. In general that means the snowblower belt and the PTO belt to the deck.

You should be okay to use any belt for the drive belt.

Just curious, Bob, why would the belt # be 91 and the length 93"? Seems a strange way for them to number their belts?

id="quote">Brett, it has been that way for as long as I can remember and before that. All industrial belt people use the same numbering system.

The A series belts NAPA sells are not rated for a backside idler, but are rated for 17HP.

The 4LxxxW series belts at NAPA are rated for 17HP and a backside idler.

I have used the 4LxxxW belts with great sucess in all tractor applications.

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁
