johnmonkey
Does anyone know if you can buy ball and socket joints for steering? I have a steering rod that needs new joints the old joints were pressed in and need replacing. The shaft size is 3/4 (simplicity has a 1/2 shaft). The simplicity style is great and I would like to use it but with the shaft size being different (1/2 to 3/4) I don't know if I can use the simplicity style.Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thanx John H
Roy
Try McMaster-Carr and other industrial supply houses. Ball & socket joints are fairly common. You could also do a "search" on the Web to find a source. Roy

jlasater
NAPA has some as well. I used some on my *gasp* Ford lawn tractor when I was working on getting it running. AC tractors are much better built! :-)[A href='http://www.wheatfarm.com']http://www.wheatfarm.com[/a]
