What have I found?

Picked this up at an estate sale. It was headed to the scrap yard, so I wasn't going to let that happen. I didn't need a 36" blower, and the hitch and lift assembly is not for a large frame. But I know someone can use it, and it appears to have a right hand lift lever? As far as I can see, the model # is 1690547

The hitch is to either a short regent or the 4200 5200 6200 type series. The lift looks like a slightly newer regent?

So far, my searching agrees with you. The lift lever I think is for the 4200 series. I'm hoping others chime in. As soon as know for sure, I can put it in the classifieds.

Lift lever is no good, as its missing all the brackets that hold it to the tractor.

With different hitches the blower will fit many different tractors. I have same blower on a modified new prestige hitch fitted to a 2005 Broadmoor. 36" + 20hp makes it almost unstoppabledOd

Sam, for some reason I am thinking there was a lift lever like that and it went to a dozer blade, but it seems to me the lift lever was curved...

They work for dozer blades and blowers on the 4000/5000/6000 series (which is what this blower setup is for) The lift lever is the correct lever, but its missing the two brackets that the long rod slides through that mount under the footplates.

The inner foot plate mount is the width of the footplate, and it also has the quadrant with the catches that the lever latches to.

There are a number of variations for the lift levers that fit these style stamped frame tractors, some have 1 mount plate, others have 2. This one should be the older 2 plate version.

Sam is correct. There should be a mounting bracket for the right running board on a 6000 series. The lever is not for 6200 series as far as I know, because they don't go all the way across the tractor with the shaft. The 6000 series did because the tiller would lift from the left side as you sit on the tractor. There would be a small bracket that bolts to the left side frame to carry the shaft, and then an arm would slide on the end of the shaft with a set screw and key to hook the lift lever from the tiller to. My Allis 810GT had this set-up, and it was the same as a 6010 Simplicity. My Allis T816 I have now is the same as the 6216, and the lift lever does not go across the tractor to the left side, the tiller lifts from the right side as you sit on the tractor.Hope this helps some. The blower as set up would fit any of the 6000 series tractors, I believe. On my 810GT I modified the lift so it could use either right or left side lift, here are a few pics.Steve

My '88 4212 came with the RH "large lift-lever. This only has a short shaft to a cast segment to raise the mower deck. You still need a lift rod, set collers, a spring and a special end fitting to attach to the lift arm on the blower. All this worked fine with the 42" dozer blade, but when I adapted the 46" trip blade, I had to add a lift arm extension to clear the hood, and had to extend the mounting holes for the blade hitch forward to clear the

front tires on tight turns. See also...

Site programming updates were made 3/23/2024. As a result some things have changed including dues payment options. We will continue maintenance and work with technicians to regain credit card payment option and clear up minor challenges. On positive it appears attaching pictures is now easier. Good day. Gene
