tripleguy Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 One of the blades on my 5216 48" deck is binding. I took them off to sharpen and now the one on the opposite side of the chute is binding. The other 2 seem to be OK. In order to have it not bind, it would need to be bolted down very loosely. Seems like the blade is pushing down against the dust cup which binds on the mandrel housing. On the other 2 blades, the dust cup turns when I turn the blade. On the one in question, it doesn't turn. Any ideas? How can I tighten the blade sufficienty and still allow it to turn without too much resistance?
