bowhunt4life Posted June 8, 2014 Author Posted June 8, 2014 Yep the wife and the kids have 2 horses. We stock up around 500 bales for the winter months.
ss74nova Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 Nice setup Chris. It's amazing how many attachments they have for these tractors & how many jobs they can perform.
gwiseman Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 Glad to see pto used rather than shown (like mine). Nice set up & good looking hay crop
bowhunt4life Posted June 8, 2014 Author Posted June 8, 2014 We got some nice alfalfa. This was our first year using the big hay elevator and let me tell you my back sure appreciated the elevator.
B10Dave Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 dOddOd Looking good Chris but you really should paint it yellow to match your tractors.:DIs there enough shaft sticking out on the other side of the elevator to move the pulley and avoid having to cross the belt,or are the reduction sprockets in the way?....Dave
johnmonkey Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 Real neat, I have only seen pictures of trhe elevator in old brochures. Nice to see on still in use! JH
toomanytractors Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 Make sure the girls stay away from those rotating knives!!!!!!!
bowhunt4life Posted June 9, 2014 Author Posted June 9, 2014 Hahaha yep no kids in sight when I run that weedcutter. They stay far away for safety reasons.
GLPointon Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 I love it!! THAT is what these tractors and all the specialized attachments are all about...to use around the homesteads doing chores
GrincheyOne Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 Could have used that elevator to run bundles of shingles up onto the roof, when we were building the house! We had to carry all 40 square up by hand through the house. All 7 ton of them...)
bowhunt4life Posted June 18, 2014 Author Posted June 18, 2014 Yeah the wife asked if we should hook up a little gas powered motor to the hay elevator? I told her I already did and pointed to the HB.
