Tactor season is back!

Hello again everyone!

Since I had to put the toys to bed for the winter I didn't have much to post about. I did do a lot of lurking and using the search though. Now it's back to tractor season so I have returned to annoy everyone with my stupid questions

Two weeks ago I built a grader blade and used it and a plow to terrace my garden. I also came across a complete cab for the FDT's and hope to get my patterns cut and sewn for the new canvas this weekend.

I hope to get some posts up in show and tell to show off some of my projects.

I also have plans to build a clam shell type bucket add-on for the 42" blade and will be machining a new input shaft for a BGB. I was thinking of offering some of these things for sale if there is any interest... Where would be the best place to post? Show and Tell? Classifieds? Talking Tractors?

I don't want to offend anyone by posting in the wrong place, and I am not looking to start a full time business. I just thought that once I have a pattern it isn't that much more difficult to cut out material and weld up two or three instead of just one. And things like the BGB shaft, if there is interest for a couple I will just write the code to make it on a CNC lathe instead of manually for just a one off. I figured that if I am wanting these things and having trouble finding them, others might also.

Todd, the best place to sell is Classifieds, to display accomplishments, either Show and Tell or Talking Tractors, if you are not sure on pricing , try What's It Worth forums.

I forgot to mention that I rebuilt my tiller too and did 4 gardens this spring. It worked great and everyone was happy with the results.

If I had access to a CNC lathe, and the ability to write the program, I don't think I would "one off" anything.

Chances are if you needed one, you will again, or someone else has needed, does need, or will need one eventually.

That is a real nice offer Todd. I am sure others appreciate your efforts and could in fact use a few of the items you mentioned.
