Attention Earthcavator Owners...Ripper Shanks

Recommended Posts

I am working with a couple club members who are fabricating up some earthcavator's for other club members. The Ripper Shanks are NLA and guys have been fabricating them up.

I have been ordering the teeth for the Ripper Shanks from H&L Tooth co. out of Oklahoma.

Today H&L informed me that they will be offering the currently NLA E3-23 ripper shanks in about 6 months. They indicated the demand is there for them to begin producing them.

Cost will be $8-9 per shank according the H&L representative.

Anyone have dimensions for these? A 52" earthcavator came with my 720, a bit oversized, but sans rippers. My thought is that there were two distinct sizes of earthcavators and shanks/rippers: the lawn tractor variety, and the larger 'big' tractor variety. I'd love to find a set, but will do some more digging later.

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁
