9934059 Posted June 26, 2014 Posted June 26, 2014 My Sunstar 60 inch deck has a 'clunk, clunk, clunk' when I power down the throttle and then shut-off the PTO switch. This noise occurs when I turn off the PTO switch. Any help in diagnosing the issue is appreciated.

9934059 Posted July 4, 2014 Author Posted July 4, 2014 I believe the fix for the 'clunking' noise in my mower deck required a new belt and tightening of the nuts on the rear of the 'U channel' which holds the gear box assembly. The mower height selector requires more effort to move now that those nuts have been tightened. Is this normal??? The old belt was very loose. The U joints on the shaft are tight.
