Pls Help model 5216H belt too small

Recommended Posts

My son was cutting grass for a neighbor on the neghbors tractor and grass accumulated next the muffler and caught on fire; luckily the only damage is to the belts. We replaced the drive belt and that is fine but mower deck belt seems to be about 1 1/2 inches short. The sticker under the hood shows 42" belt as part 1668066. If i figure out how to post a picture I will. Thanks for any advice.

Is there enough adjustment in the spring on the deck to cover that much length?

Here is a link to the deck with the belt routing and part #'s

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁
