Allis B-10 and Sickle mower

Recommended Posts

Still needs more work to be done and a swathboard but was able to try it out a bit with the new knives and punch a small hole until the pitman arm bolt snapped with the bushing being flung far into the field. This sickle has cut many miles of hay/weeds judging by the wear, the previous owner replaced the roller bearing but used a hardware store cheap bolt.It would seem the sickle is two, the bar and drive head is 101029 but the carry frame is the later cable lift black frame with the tab for the helper spring. I ordered a OEM drive belt for the 101029 sickle but it seems too long, the mid mount pto mule drive stop tab is resting against the bottom of the tractor's frame, lost the part number for that drive belt.I plan on converting the sickle to cable lift someday.Thanks.

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁
