the 24" insulation went up quick with the 2x6 girts mounted "bookshelf" method.

I have to frame the interior girts on the end walls to insulate

Here's a little more;I got my wiring about done and the new Air compressor in place

DSCI6738.JPG

Been getting the drywall mud on, just "fire-taped" for now.The small room to the left will be a paint booth (only 9'x6') for painting hanging parts.

DSCI6741.JPG

a few of the Allis' hiding in the wings. The boxes are some of the 24 new light fixtures going in. The T-8 bulbs are more light with less energy than the older T-12's in my prior shop. sm00

It's very thrilling to start moving some stuff in here now a little at a time sm01

Wow!

Looks like you'll have a ton of room to fill up with tractors. How many do you think it'll hold?

Looking real good Greg. Not sure how long you plan to wait before you finish taping your rock but based on seeing your moving in I'll guess awhile. Be good idea to at least prime the rock now, I have re-taped a few because in time the mud takes on moisture and the tape peels off. It's a pain to do then.

True Marty...I'm gonna spray the ceiling before I hang the lights to save the trbl of painting around 20+ fixtures. Bill I have "Tractor storage" planned into the shop design for at least 12 without using any of the main work area. I'm sure I'll wish for more with attachments and other stuff I'll want to keep indoors...sm00

Nice progress on the shop! I think I have 12 or more in a shop half that size. No wonder I don't have any room to work. That air conditioning would be amazing.

Greg, that looks awesome! Now a beer frig, bar, and card table and you are all set! LOL. I always wanted to do a building like that and put hydronic heat in the floor. Nothing is worse then laying on cold concrete!

Thanks guys for all your responses...

unfortunatly I wont be doing much more until after the LaPorte GOTO. I've got lots to do. Much of my fleet had to spend the winter outdoors and needs cleaned/waxed before the show...
