2010 tractor engine swap help?

I am attempting to help a fellow member out with a engine swap and have a few questions. The engine I am attempting to swap into is a bit newer 10hp Briggs cast iron I/C engine model #243432 type 1164-01 code 92081348? This engine is a top dip stick model. Can I swap out the oil pans between the original and my replacement...are they the same?? Also, if I remember right the previous owner of my 10 had to extend the drive shaft a little bit in his 2110 using longer bolts and washers on the coupler because the motor was a little less wide or sat a little further in the frame? Does anyone know if this will work in the 66 2010 round hood tractor?? thanks in advance for any and all help!Pics of my replacement engine below!

The oil pans should swap without a problem.

As for the driveshaft, no need to extend it, just add spacers or washers for whatever you need. There are many out there with 2 sets of spacers because there was an engine pulley there for hydro lift.

I have a couple that way and they are fine.

Also, once you set the engine, and are ready to hook up the drive shaft, loosen the setscrew on the rear adapter on the bgb, so you have a little room to slide the drive shaft forward or back to line it up.

The best way is to make sure that yoke slides easily, then bolt everything up and spin the engine over a few times and it will allign itself to take tension off the flexdisks
