ac.d17iv Posted July 23, 2014 Posted July 23, 2014 Picked this up last weekend for a good price. Had to drive a couple hours 1 way, but seems to be in excellent shape, came with the bags, tubes and belt. Excited to use it for leaves this fall on my 712H.
GregB Posted July 23, 2014 Posted July 23, 2014 If it dos not have support wheel in back, I'd think about front counter weights.
s_stephen Posted July 23, 2014 Posted July 23, 2014 I like the one i have for my early 712. I didnt ues any front counter weights and got along fine
GregB Posted July 23, 2014 Posted July 23, 2014 I look at it if it was on my property, everything is a slope. Wet grass in a similar set-up made my steering light. Your results may vary.............. My two cents, value accordingly
Talntedmrgreen Posted July 23, 2014 Posted July 23, 2014 I had one and enjoyed it. Emptying was a bit of a pain, and it fills quickly but works well. I had to add counterweight. I mow slopes and an FDT would stand right up on its rear heading uphill, depending on how much was in the bag. Even my 7790 would bring a front tire or two off the ground.
ac.d17iv Posted July 25, 2014 Author Posted July 25, 2014 I'd like to add suitcase weights to the front. I thought I remembered seeing a bracket RayS made, but can't find the post.
GregB Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 Here's the green one mounted on my 917H. Ray used these to start his build.I think he did make some tweaks to his.
