BenB 3 Posted January 10, 2002 The Danco manual states their loader with the work bucket to be 600 pounds. Good guess Steve! Ben
powermax_paul 1 Posted January 10, 2002 The 9020 with ag tires is 1390#, with turf tires 1426# and with high capacity/floatation tires is 1480#. These are dry shipping weigts with no fuel, oil or operator. Approximate operating weight with operator, fuel and oil is 1600#. The Danco Loader is 600# with 48" bucket. I don't know the weight of the ARK Loader. Paul
Kent 436 Posted January 10, 2002 Wow, I got the weight of the AC 720 from the Allis section, and it looks like there's pretty significant differences from that listed forthe 9020...
MPH 12 Posted January 10, 2002 Does "Shipping Weight" include a crate..?
powermax_paul 1 Posted January 10, 2002 I don't believe they were shipped in crates. Info is from an original Simplicity sales brochure I have from my first 9020 that I bought from a family member. Paul
Tuffy 1 Posted January 10, 2002 Re crate included? No Re Diff of AC vs. Simplicity Weight - Not more than a few ounces. The tires and wheels do make a difference. As Paul noted there is about a hundred pounds added for the high capacity tires and wheels for either the AC or Simplicity. Steve
aquick 0 Posted January 10, 2002 does anyone know the appx. weight of a powermax? with a loader?
Kent 436 Posted January 10, 2002 Approximately 1300 pounds WITHOUT the loader. I don't know what the loader weighs...
Tuffy 1 Posted January 10, 2002 Yes, the tractor is about 1500 pounds including an operator. The loader is very heavy; at least another 500-600 pounds I would think. Steve
JMichael 0 Posted January 11, 2002 Concerning weights, don't forget to add about 220-240 lbs., if tires are filled with calcium chloride solution. Mine are and I was surprised how heavy my AC620 was when I went to load it on my little sports car trailer, to bring it home the first time. My 1967 Morgan weighs less than the tractor with mower deck and front hydralic dozer blade!!!
aquick 0 Posted January 11, 2002 Thanks to everyone for your responses. My trailer will just barely handle the weight so I guess I'll rent one for the weekend. aq
