9yard Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 Hello Everyone, Iam repairing, well actually pretty much restoring my 1977 7016H and I have taken the electric lift apart and I was hoping someone knows where I may be able to download a manual or at least see a detailed breakdown of all the parts for the lift. Your help would be greatly appreciated,I like the tractor a lot and want to make sure everything is there and functions well.
PhanDad Posted August 7, 2014 Posted August 7, 2014 9yard, This post should be in Talking Tractors; that's where you'll get the best and fastest response. TechTips forum is for already established solutions. That said, look up mfg #1690043 on the Simplicity Manual Web Site: http://www.simplicitymfg.com/us/en/support/manuals The second manual listed (operators manual) includes a parts schematic and list. The first manual is a parts manual for 7000 series tractor accessories including the electric lift. Other mfg# for the electric lift are 990658 and 1690392. Welcome to the club.
OkieGT Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 If your looking for the schematic of the INSIDE of the lift motor, I'm not sure I've ever seen that. I think I have one of a Sears model, same motor
9yard Posted August 10, 2014 Author Posted August 10, 2014 Thank you for the redirection and links! I found everything I needed! It's great to find other people with a passion for and knowledge of these old tractors. Thanks again.
9yard Posted August 10, 2014 Author Posted August 10, 2014 OkieGT, The manuals I found show the basic breakdown of the lift. I didn't find a detailed breakdown of the worm and roller in the lift but I was able to determine it is all there and in decent shape and it is now all cleaned, lubed and back together. Now I move on to body work!

Chris727 Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 I'm thinking the 300/400 Series Service and Repair manual contains a section covering the electric lift.
