Snow Chains

I just got a blower and set of weights/chains for my T12. I'm concernaed about chewing up my bit. driveway. Has anyone made a pair of cable chains which they use on cars in Europe? I could save the full chains for the heavy snow where there is usually some snow pack to buffer the chain contact. Thanks

Never used the cable chains but unless you have multiple tractors and could keep chains on one and cables on the other I would think switching back and forth would get old real quick. I just leave the chains on one of my tractors all year for that reason. Brent
