Brigs carburetor??

Recommended Posts

I am trying to convince myself that the problem with my Landlord is the emulsion tube in the carburetor. The Briggs engine was running just fine, but started 'hunting' for no good reason, so I soaked the carb, put a kit in it, and still have no result that I am happy with.

A Helicoil in one hole for carb tightening, a kit, complete with new emulsifier tube. I thing the emulsifier tube is wrong, though it came in the Briggs kit, will check THE KIT and parts against each other tomorrow, but the tube is a part of the kit...

Consider that you might have a vacuum leak (possibly) at the block to intake manifold due to a worn/missing/broken gasket. To test this , I usually take propane around various places around the carb & throttle shaft, intake manifold gasketed areas when it's behaving this way and note if it has any affect.

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁
