Guest Posted January 12, 2002 I would like to build a cab for my AC 416H.I will be useing half inch hydro pipe for the frame and cover it with a industrial fiberglass sheet. The windshield I will use what Home Hardware sells He called it rockglass I think. He said you could throw a rock at it and would not brake.Cheap two only $38.00 for a piece large enough. The problem faceing me is the implement lift being in the way.Would it be possible to buy a electric lift or make one.Does the original mount on the left side of the tractor buy the lift handle or on the back behind the seat.I was thinking a good quality power window motor gear reduced wood work mounted on the left side by the bottom of the lift handle.Any advice would be nice.Thanks. MikeES 469 Posted January 12, 2002 The electric lifts are still available but are very expensive from the dealer new. I believe that there are a few in the For Sale section. The electric lift is a ball screw system mounted in the center under the dash. This is the place that any power lift should go. There was a post here recently of someone putting a hydraulic lift on their 3416H using the Vickers hydro for the hydraulic source. Your tractor has the same hydro drive. I doubt that a window lift would work without double reduction, and then your lift time is very slow. Good Luck! Mike S.
