I am wondering what kind of fluid to use in my 919 for the pump my dealer said that if you are going to change it all and filter that I can just put F Trans in it cause that is what they went to.

But I see posting on here of using 30 W oil a x so on so I am trying to get some feed back here.

They sell it at TSC, Rural king and many other farm stores. Usually 2 to 2-1/2 gallons for less than $20 bucks. Walmart sells Dexron Mercron mix for less than $11 bucks. Type F at Walmart used to be the cheapest by the quart.

I like Mercron, its synthetic or semi if I remember right. You only do it every 4 or 5 years so cost is not a big factor. Less whine at start up in winter if you use a snowthrower. Pump runs cooler in summer. I have used type f and dextron as well. I think dextron is basically the same thing for another manufacturer. Walmart is where I go.

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁
