20 hp Kawasaki engine oil

I'd probably go 10W-30 summer and 5W-30 winter. I think if you don't let any oil run too long, you would be fine. The oil change is probably more important than the oil weight. Just my $.02. Dave

If you are using a good synthetic oil, there will be little or no difference in viscosity at operating temps between a 5w-30 and a 10w-30 oil. However, the 5w-30 oil will provide quicker lube during start-up and you can use it year around--------------which is nice if you don't run your tractors a lot. My tractors are lucky if they get 25 hrs of use each.

Sam,

I would think the oil spec would be on the dipstick cap with most modern engines and like cars have on their oil fill caps?

Here are some entertaining/informative oil technology videos:

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁
