bought a new 5L420W Napa belt for the 32" tiller(calls for Simplicity #154273) & theres no way it will fit (to short). set the tiller tension belt adjusting screw to longest setting but still belt to short. What Napa belt will fit-Simplicity belt to expensive. this tiller fits the landlord 2110

Unless that belt was mis-manufactured or you had the wrong OEM number, then I suspect there is a problem with the routing or an adjustment. What size belt was on it previously?

I just looked up the spec and the original belt is 42.3" and it runs around $32. It's the same as the BGB to transmission belt on the 2110. You could try swapping it in to see if it fits.

Found the problem-after 46 yrs, the lever assembly , left side belt tension froze inside the bar assembly, causing no movement for the belt to fit on pulley. there should of been a grease fitting on the bar assembly pictured to prevent this, so I put in anti-seeze. anybody ever have this problem?

Site programming updates were made 3/23/2024. As a result some things have changed including dues payment options. We will continue maintenance and work with technicians to regain credit card payment option and clear up minor challenges. On positive it appears attaching pictures is now easier. Good day. Gene
