Made the 2-1/2 hour trek up to Mt. Pleasant last week and brought along Mom and Dad. This event was way beyond 1st class. I took over 400 pictures. The whole town embraces the event and residents sell parking on their lawns. We parked in a yard for $5.00. Upon 1st entering the grounds you cross the railroad tracks where they have a full scale narrow gauge railroad with two restored steam locomotives and two full passenger trains that circle the grounds.

All over the grounds there were flea market vendors and antiques. There are several railroad depot's. A blacksmith shop, a saloon show, post office, jail, you name it and they had it. I can't sum this all up in one post. Replica 1950's IH dealer:

There are also many other early agriculture, printing, rural electrification, and domestic displays. Its amazing this is all put on by volunteers and donations. There is something for everyone at this event. We did not see it all in the one day we were there.

Thanx for the Photo tour Chris! It is refreshing to see such a broadbrush presentation of GTs, accessories, attachments, vehicles, manufacturers, and vintages.

The AC dealership is actually the real deal. Petersons right outside Mount Pleasant They donated it to the Threshers.they change it a little now and then. It did have an Allis B inside it the last time I was there.Well worth the drive and it is hard to see all at one time. They just started letting garden tractors in. It was only open to pre 1950 or so machinery.Kinda ruled out garden tractors.Nice to see the pics.

Site programming updates were made 3/23/2024. As a result some things have changed including dues payment options. We will continue maintenance and work with technicians to regain credit card payment option and clear up minor challenges. On positive it appears attaching pictures is now easier. Good day. Gene
