KT 19 Series 2 - Oil Pressure Relief

Recommended Posts

MadMike

When taking the cover plate off, of course the pressure relief assembly had to take flight and the ball is now NLA. (meaning somewhere in my shed)

Looks like the assembly, Part Number 52 755 33 is also NLA.

Can anyone tell me what diameter the ball is?

Thanks in advance,

Mike

I can't imagine it would be an issue (unless the ball bearing were too small and allowed bypass) as it is a relief valve. Technically, it should never be an issue, unless there is some other issue causing the bypass, and that would be a much bigger problem. I would think you should be good to go, without a problem.

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁
