Wire from armature

Recommended Posts

RandyBuxton

Yep,, I need to do some studying up on ignition theory. But what I did was connect a wire from the condenser to the ground screw in the plate to the rear of the flywheel (that screw has a wire to the armature).

Fired right up. Is it safe to assume that I have routed the wire correctly from the condenser?

Thanks.

That is correct routing.

Except that the screw is not ground, it is just a connection, has rubber washers and is isolated from ground. If it were grounded, it would not run.
