4041 running again thanks to this group

Got to say thanks to the group. Last fall the 4041 would not start. Turn the key and nuthin. Ok, pulled out the 1964 Broadmoor, rope start and got the job done for the rest of the fall. Twice the time but gettin it done, sweet machine that Broadmoor. Anyway:

Searching through old posts came across discussion about how long the starter circuit is and with age /corrosion may not be enough juice to pull in the solenoid. Tried toggling the clutch switches like was said, turned the key and BAM, runing again! Woo hoo, no pullin the engine or fiddle fartin with the starter. Going to install a relay kit at some point but happy guy now.
