adapting Suburban Accessories to a 7117 Lift

Recommended Posts

I have been blessed with a 1968 Suburban 12 with numerous attachments. Unfortunately at 62 I have a difficult time with the manual lift 3 point hitch. I also have a great Simplicity 7117 with hydro lift. I am considering adapting the hydro lift to accept the Suburban toys. I am looking for a lift pin that is 7/16 at one end and 5/8 at the other. Any thoughts on the adapting or the lift pins? Thanks Gary

I don't have it anymore, nor any pictures of it, but a few years ago I built an adapter that pinned to the back of an A/C and bolted the entire Sears 3 point to it.

I lifted it with a rod in the stock A/C lift and a chain down to the top link. It was a quick and dirty for a special use, but a nicer one could be built fairly easily.

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁
