I have one of the newest RBT sickles ( mfr# 1690030) and have continually read online, also told by the PO, that the mower was made by Haban. I disagreed with this based on the different design of the knives, skids, and bar when compared to the Haban mowers sold with Deere, MF, Cub, etc. The drive and hitch are of Simplicity design as is the gear reduction which is similar to the HI-Lo units for the FDT tractors. I ran across an old ad for a Hydra-Sickle offered for the 3300/3400 Series Simplicity tractors (posted above). The unit had a belt driven hydraulic pump to run the knives. I found some pics of a "Didier" mower and found the bar is the same design as on my RBT mower. The "clips" also look the same. Here are some links to other Didier Mowers:http://www.weekendfreedommachines.com/discus/messages/335/86007.jpghttp://www.mytractorforum.com/showthread.php?t=226591http://www.weekendfreedommachines.com/discus/messages/335/85922.html?1170543218

Well, i'll be....I thought they had a Haban bar too. I have seen the Didier's and would love to find one to mount under the Legacy. There's one out in MN cheap, that is shaft driven to the pump that would be ideal. I had no idea they offered one for RBT's....now I need one of those!
