Ok again I am showing my stupidity but I began to disassemble the Carb #52 053 09 off my Kohler 17 out of my 7117. Suddenly a small bearing dropped onto the bench. Looked at several parts break downs but can noy find out where it came from. Anyone got an idea?

Take a look at the aluminum casting both on the exterior and inside the float bowl area. Often balls are pressed into drilled holes to block the hole off. Usually, the end of the hole is staked with a circular depression to retain the ball.

Wow found it. There is a small spring and ball bearing in the shaft hole of the choke lever. Now where the heck did the spring go?

id="quote">I've found that very often a black hole or time warp will open on my bench sucking up parts and tools. Sometimes they will reappear in the spot where they were left but very often the disappear forever. Once in a while they will appear in another location. The problem with that is you have to be lucky to find them.:D:D:D:DKen
