Time flies, savor the moment.

Eleven years ago,my number three granddaughter and I had a difficult time getting to know each other until one day I coxed her into a ride with me. A picture was snapped and I named it "Bonding" and years used that as my signature picture.

From that point on, every time she came to my house, it was , "Papa, can we go for a tractor ride?" Well two years ago her dad clicked a picture of her first stand alone supervised outing of her "own" mower.;)

Today she was over and it hit me that it's time for another picture.

She started eighth grade this year and a tad too big to duplicate the first picture.

There is a great Kenny Chesney C|:song that says it all

Don't Blink!

Your pics reminded me of that song...thanks for sharing Bob.

"Don't blink...just like that you're six years old and you take a nap and you

Wake up and you're twenty-five and your high school sweetheart becomes your wife

Don't blink

You just might miss your babies growing like mine did

Turning into moms and dads next thing you know your better half

Of fifty years is there in bed

And you're praying God takes you instead

Trust me friend a hundred years goes faster than you think

So don't blink"

I love the Pics and the story Bob!

as my own children were never interested in anything mechanical, and there seems to be no Grand kids in sight, this really tugs at my heart strings.Guess I am going to have to find some to "adopt" Looks like you are having the time of your lives!
