I am trying to wire my 717 with an alternator. But it does not want to work the right way. Can't get the amp meter to work.And I know that the battery is charging since I put a volt meter on the battery and it shows a charge when the tractor is running. Does anyone here have a diagram with the amp meter wired with the alternator and not the generator? Thanks Kris

Are you sure that you are putting DC into the battery and not AC? Does the alternator have an internal or external voltage regulator? John
