A/C 917 hydro pump check valve question

Recommended Posts

I picked this tractor up in May and just got around to finishing the engine work and had it running sunday and while looking it over found oil on top of the rear check valve. What's the proper fix for hydro oil coming up through the center of the check valve assy? Is it over filled, do I have to replace the complete assy, or just remove it and clean it? Any advise is greatly appreciated.

One of mine did that and I couldn't get it to stop so I had to swap it out with another used one. The one that was leaking looked brand new and crystal clean... still have no idea but the used one that I put in is fine

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁
