3300 series Rear Lift -Original or Mod?

Recommended Posts

SmilinSam

Outdoor Joe has this on Ebay. Says its off a 3300 series.

I've never seen this sort of arrangement before. I know the 3300 series have a cam on the lift lever to let it move when tilling rather than being locked in place. Would be interesting if thise were a factory evolved piece prior to the cable lift on the 3400 series.

Anyone seen this before?

It is in the 3212 parts manual. I had one on my B212 when I got it and I have a NOS here. Not sure how it would have worked on a 3300 series unless that had a different rockshaft than the 3400 series.

That is the same as on my 3314H. Last year of rod lift but no down pressure because of the loops.3300's were a transition tractor with old style PTO and that lift on the first running board tractors....Dave

Nifty.

Yes the 3300 series has a different rock shaft than the 3400 series.

The 3310 sitting here has just a solid one piece lift rod and a cam on the lift lever to hold the lever lock up and keep it from locking.

I think that 2 piece lift rod would be better. Looks easy enough to make..
