I am going to kick this contest off by nominating s_stephen's 920 Diesel project he did a while back. Tractor was burnt up in a dealership fire. He bought the remains cheap and worked on it for something like a couple years off and on. He got everything fixed and redone except for the decals at which time I believe he sold or traded it to a Simplicity dealer. I believe another club or forum member here now currently owns this tractor unless I am mistaken. Before:

If he accepts the nomination , perhaps he can add some details of what all he did to this machine to bring iot back to life.

id="quote">I will accept the nomination. I done a complete rebuild of the engine in this tractor and swapped out the Trans new tires all the way around. It was a two year process and ran like new when I was done I didn't really have a need for the tractor I just wanted to save it from the death of a crusher. I used it for a year to make sure it was good and then sold it fore someone else to enjoy.

I am going to submit my wife's "B10"As for "before" pics, this is the best I can do ;)This tractor was purpose built for my wife for an anniversary present.Built entirely out of spare parts. Modified for her purpose, and so it wouldn't do anything for me.The reason behind the build can be found herehttp://www.simpletractors.com/club2/topic.asp?ARCHIVE=true&TOPIC_ID=116260&SearchTerms=anniversary

Here is the build topic, I apologize for some of the pictures, apparently I used the same name on some of them for my Squire build so the pictures got swapped out.http://www.simpletractors.com/club2/topic.asp?ARCHIVE=true&TOPIC_ID=116102&SearchTerms=anniversary

Site programming updates were made 3/23/2024. As a result some things have changed including dues payment options. We will continue maintenance and work with technicians to regain credit card payment option and clear up minor challenges. On positive it appears attaching pictures is now easier. Good day. Gene
