I grabbed this one today runs great , it needs tlc, came with snow plow deck /chains and wheel weights .

owner thought it needs engine work as it was smoking bad at startup . when I got it home , I took the air filter out , and oh my god it was clogged to the max , I put a new one , cleaned the engine , new spark plug , new points and that thing run like top .

Wow...nice looking machine. For a machine that good looking you think the PO would have cleaned his air filter.

I usually don't keep any thing unless it is hydrostatic drive and hydraulic lift or electric , but this guy can take a lot of beating , I love the fast 6 speed option on it , I took it in the woods for a spin , dragging things , it is a lot of power , yup the air filter was gummed up with dirt , like u wouldn't believe .

I got to weld the deck in few spots and it is ready to work .

The transaxle on the 6-speed is the same as the 3-speed. Yes 80/90 is what is recommended. If you are going to use it in cold weather I would recommend synthetic gear lube.
