LED substitute for PAR36 Headlights

Hello.

Recent discussions on the subject of LED lighting has led me to ask: are there LED substitutes for the stock round headlights (PAR36, I think)in my 917? I ask this because I am not sure how much amperage the starter generator (transplant briggs 16 Hp) is putting out.

Here is a substitute I found on the web: https://www.larsenlights.com/par-36-45-18-watt-flood-light

Anyone try this yet?

I bought some of these to try. Very fast service/delivery. I have not installed yet, but couldn't resist testing them with a jumper wire. A word of caution, don't look at the light when you test, I was seeing 5 spots for quite a while8D.

I also have been looking. Thanks for the link. My Landlord has 2 67 GTO backup lights cut into the grille. I was planning on reforming a new grille and installing a light bar as it should have. But am thinking more of small, high intensity LEDs that might fit that housing. Broke my leg right before Thanksgiving, so there went tinkering. But, planning and looking for parts still is necessary and easily fits in my "busy" schedule of watching the western channel!
