Borrowed Josh`s rare right hand lift for the running board tractors. This is the only one that I have ever seen in person. So I decided to copy it. I got most of it done. Will need to install on tractor to do some tack welding. Then finish it up. More pictures to come.

RHL on a RBT will only work for front attachments right?

id="quote">YupI only ever had dozer blades to use with the rhl I had. Works best with the lighter 42" blade. A 46" HD is workable, but it takes some elbow grease to lift it with a rhl.

A little more progress and more pictures to come. Got the latch mechanism made yesterday. Should be done today. Then hopefully next I will begin a right hand lift for a FDT.

Not the same critter Wayne, These right hand lift accessories are shorter than your 4212 style right hand lift, and the lift point on the lever higher. These have less leverage than the one one your tractor.

I think this would be ideally suited for someone running an ez rake and deck, or perhaps doing midmount grader work but wanting to use a 42" dozer for chipping away at a dirt pile the grader cant bite into.

I think snow removal in general would be a big PITA with a RHL.

Finished other than paint. Didn`t really build to put on my tractor. Though I may at some point. It was built to copy an original that is rare. If I ever needed to make another I will have it to copy from..

The right hand lifts used to be for sale every now and then and were pretty sought after. Are they all bought up on tractors now? Or, just not the "in" accessory anymore?

Tim, the fdt right hand lifts are easy to find compared to a RBT right hand lift. Not sure if you seen if it was for FTD or a rbt? Built it because I never seen it ever for a rbt.

id="quote">Nor had I, before buying the lift Ray copied. My least favorite machines are the 3300-7000's and I search for those tractors specifically looking for an rbt rhl, and for no other reason. In several years, I have only seen the one original. I have NEVER seen one for sale on its own, anywhere.
