OK, let's prime this pump! This is how we remove snow on Country Club Dr. First is this Simplicity 3410.

34101.JPG

This one is the first Simplicity I bought, right after we bought our house. It came with a deck, and a dump cart, purchased from the original owner. This was 1987 or so.

34102.JPG

After the first winter, I went to the dealer, and bought the blade, and some chains. It did a fine job for about 12 years or so. But the engine was getting tired. So I bought a Briggs 11 HP off EBay. It was mid 80's vintage, but had never been used. I installed it, and used the tractor for about 3 more years.

34103.JPG

By then, I had found this website, and caught the bug! So this tractor was retired, until this year.

21102.JPG

This 2110 was bought with a blown motor. It was going to be parted, but there wasn't much interest in the parts. So I had the 10HP from the 3410 rebuilt, and installed it in here. I also acquired a B210, which was parted, but gave up it's snowblower.

21103.JPG

It's been pretty dependable, except for having to replace the points yearly. So I'm planning on installing a NOVA II breakerless system.Come on, lets see yours!!!

Here are my boys.I just got the cab and 2 stage blower for the Legacy this weekend. (still haven't gotten around to putting the decals back on the Legacy since repainting it this summer. I'm lazy :D).

Legacy with blower and cab.jpg

The blower will be coming off the Sunstar tonight, and the blade going on in its stead.

My snow Crew the trusty 620 with blower and rear blade, tired big 10 with a loader, and a 7013 with a 42" blade accompanied by their helpers as if they need help sm00

and the area I have to play in, 105' of sidewalks and steps plus 2800 sq ft of driveway

Now all that is needed is snow

Out of 4 entries we only have one contestant with their "fleet" grouped together in one picture.

While for this contest it wasn't a requirement, for future contests with multiple tractor or "fleet" criteria, we will be making at least one group shot photo mandatory. This because there will be only one winners photo posted to the Club home page. If the fleet is not photo'd together, I have to end up picking just one tractor that was pictured individually to post.

This is a example of 20/20 hindsight you knowsm00:D

Here is my fleet for this winter. I may pull in a small frame or two to play in the snow as winter progresses, but these are my three tractors that will be at the ready.

20141213_102247.jpg

20141213_102229.jpg

Grandpa's old '68 B-110, wiht hydrolift, front AG's and 46" blade

20141213_102300.jpg

2003 AGCO 2025...will be my first winter with the hard cab. The Sweepster worked great last winter, and I have since added a snowflap to keep the dust down, which got tested, and worked well, in our record November snowfall last month. The 2 stage, 47" blower shares the quick hitch with the broom, and can be swapped in minutes.

20141213_102311.jpg

20141213_124530.jpg

2004 Legacy XL...will be my first winter to work with 4x4

20141213_102336.jpg

A look at the weight used on each machine. The XL has about 500lbs of spare weights I have laying around. Probably overkill, but I won't have this tractor chained up, and can't have the weight sitting around unused =]

20141213_102347.jpg

The AGCO has a weight carrier with 4-42# weights, 50# wheel weights and the weight of that big old cab...maybe 200#? It sure feels heavy when driving around.

20141213_102404.jpg

The B-110 has inner and outer OEM wheel weights, for around 50lbs per side, 8" front weights, and a stinger/doughnut combo for lightening the blade when pushing snow in float.

A walk around of the fleet...and view from within the cab

One other thing I need to make mention of, that being there are room for only 8 entries on the polls.

With this in mind we have to limit each months entries to the first 8 entires. After that 8 is reached the submission topic will be closed.

Got room for 3 more entries this month and less than 2 days now to enter them.

Contest will close early AM on the 15th. sooner if the limit of 8 entries is reached.

:D Well if there is still room I might as well show off my snow removal fleet. The pics are from previous years as I don't have any current ones right now. I use a BigTen with a blade; a BigTen with a blower and a Sno-Bee 7HP walk behind.

The majority of the work is done by my go to BigTen and blower set up. I have used this combo to clean my driveway for several years and it takes a lot of snow to get the better of it. The walk behind and BigTen with blade are mostly back up in case of a breakdown. If we get huge snowfall or bad drifting I have access to a JD 540 loader from work....Dave

The 2110 is a 13hp repower, and is equipped with a rh lift, hydro lift and a hi/lo along with the cab, ags, tri-ribs and grader blade. The loader is on a low hour barn/eBay find 3112v.

Got my 2 1964 Allis Chalmers B-10's together for the running. One with the loader, the other with 46" dozer blade. I share the suitcase weights between the 2. I added hydrolift to the b-10 with the blade this year, sure is great! Also have the stinger weight with donut weight on there. They really worked great last winter piling up the snow!

Site programming updates were made 3/23/2024. As a result some things have changed including dues payment options. We will continue maintenance and work with technicians to regain credit card payment option and clear up minor challenges. On positive it appears attaching pictures is now easier. Good day. Gene
