TimJr 206 Posted January 21, 2002 Are there any good places to find NOS or used Simplicity stuff. Parts, attachments, parts tractors. I can't seem to hardly find any used tractors, let alone one someone is parting out or attachments. None of the dealers I have been to seem to have had Simplicity for very long, and don't keep old machines around even if they do take them on trade. Any suggestions? Brent_Baumer 5 Posted January 21, 2002 Yep. Look at the 4-sale pages on this site. Post a want ad if looking for something in particular. Go to dealers other than Simplicity (like JD, wheelhorse, cub, etc) and look at their trade-ins. Try some equipment rental places too. Some of them sell new and used stuff. Place a want ad in your local paper. Brent
Brent_Baumer 5 Posted January 21, 2002 Your predicament may be caused by the existence of this club. This website has raised the interest in this old iron to the point stuff is getting hard to find lying around. What are you looking for? Have you placed a Want Ad? AGCO918 0 Posted January 21, 2002 Brent - Tim Columbus, OH isn't that far from Mooreland, IN. Why don't you guys get together on Brent's 7010. It looks pretty clean to me and the price is certainly right. Don't fall asleep at the switch..............
Brent_Baumer 5 Posted January 21, 2002 Already emailed him Dutch. I didn't post it again as I figure you all are probably sick of seeing it. I started it today for the first time in a couple months. Fired right up. Wish I could say the same for the 916H. She didn't want to get going but finally sputtered and started. Didn't even try the 3416H, didn't want to press my luck! TimJr 206 Posted January 27, 2002 Thanks for all the input. I am not in need of a whole tractor (usually anyway).. More in parts or attachments for the original Broadmoor's or the Sovereign size tractors - any year and anything - I like to look around. You never know what you might find.
