Weights and Spring

Recommended Posts

bowhunt4life

Picked up a nice set of mushroom weights today. Ironically they were right around the corner from the Ariens plant in Brillion, WI.

Fastenal brought me this prime Simplicity spring tooth drag. Can't wait to use it. I would trade it for a AC version.

Do you have more pics of the drag? That looks pretty clean and not messed with. I cannot completely tell from old parts books and literature how all the brackets and teeth are supposed to be installed. There are conflicting images from Simplicity. Tim

Those spring tooth harrows work fantastic. I found mine nos, and finally had the gumption to bust it out one day. I used it to loosen a clay base before a coworker had sod laid. Worked so well he called me back out and I did a couple more of his high-rent neighbors places. That harrow has bought me quite a bit of beer.

Now that I think about it....I cant say I have run across a yellow AC ST harrow either. I have seen white AC harrows locally. I assumed they had AC 300/400 hitches.

I picked up an AC yellow one for a friend in Nebraska. I also know of one in WI. So they are out there. This one will stay with me until I can find a yellow one.

Apparently harder to find than I first thought.

I'd like to paint this one yellow but it is such a clean original. Hate painting over something so original and in good shape.

If it was beat up it would be a no brainer to paint it.

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁
