Allis Chalmers Sno Pro 24" info----

Recommended Posts

LesH

I have a self propelled Allis Chalmers Sno Pro 24" snowblower.

The nameplate says Allis Chalmers 1690466.

It is all there except the engine.

Does anyone have any info on this unit like-- what size engine goes on/ brand??? Or a manual they could point me to. I looked on the net and could not find a manual or any info.

Thanks!!!sm01

I cannot find that MFR# in the Simplicity belt and blade manual. If you put the number in the Simplicity support page it only brings up a book for "Peerless Tire Chain Installation." Without a Simplicity counterpart model # I can't get the engine numbers.

Thanks for the info to Simplicity Mfg.

I called them and they said that the Simplicity equal is the Mfg #1690442 (just a different color). It came out with the H70 130235E, 7HP Tecumseh engine.

I think I will put a Briggs on it .

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁
