is there a reason these flex disc's are solid... im in the process of making a rear pto driveshaft from engine to rear clutch. I have some 4 belted rubber I was going to make 1. right now I have someone machining a spacer from my clutch to rear pto coupler. I also have a pillow block im going to use in line.... thanks chris

I don't see why a rubber "rag joint" coupler wouldn't work, cub cadet did that on most of their older tractors. I would think it would tolerate the torque pulses from the diesel better. I know one of my rear motor mounts was real soft and was letting the engine really move around, which doesn't help those fiberglass discs. Mike

Look at it this way, you got almost 30 years use out of the first set of disks, how much longer do you want out of the second set of disks? And the bolt right in and no frogging around modifying the driveshaft to get the rubber coupling to fit.

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁
